3 ways to clean your braces!

By adding OrthoFoam to your everyday oral hygiene game plan, you’re preventing build-up and funk before it becomes an issue. We suggest using it in the morning, at night, and after meals for best results. Remember to focus on your treatment goals and choose a cleaning method that works for you and helps you stick to a routine.

Brush
  • Step 1

    Dispense up to a full pump of foam inside your mouth or onto a toothbrush and brush your teeth as usual. After brushing spit out any excess foam; no need to rinse the foam will naturally dissipate.

Quickly Freshen
  • Step 1

    To quickly freshen up, dispense up to two pumps of foam directly into your mouth. Swish vigorously, making sure not to swallow, then spit out the foam; no need to rinse the foam will naturally dissipate.

DEEP CLEAN AND WHITEN
  • Step 1

    Dispense

    Dispense up to a full pump of foam inside each tray. (A little goes a long way!)

    Insert

    Insert them into your mouth, spit out any excess foam, and wear them for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes remove the trays and spit out any remaining foam, there is no need to rinse your mouth the foam will naturally dissipate. Rinse the foam trays before storing them.

  • Does OrthoFoam cause tooth sensitivity?

    Tooth sensitivity has not been reported with the proper use of OrthoFoam. If sensitivity does occur, reduce usage to once per day and consult your orthodontist.

  • How many times per day can I use OrthoFoam?

    OrthoFoam can be used safely up to 4 times per day.

  • How long does one bottle of OrthoFoam last?

    Each full size 50ml bottle will last approximately 30-60 days depending on how often it is used. A 25ml bottle will last approximately 15-30 days depending on how often it is used.

  • How long until my teeth start to whiten?

    The whitening process will begin immediately, with visible results after 2-3 weeks of daily use.

  • Does OrthoFoam whiten under brackets and orthodontic braces?

    Yes! The foaming formula penetrates the enamel under metal and ceramic attachments, evenly whitening the surface of your teeth.

  • Is OrthoFoam safe to use on all orthodontics brackets/materials?

    Yes! OrthoFoam is safe to use with all brackets, wires and, appliances without deteriorating bonding agents. Please note that if you have colored rubber bands, it may lighten them.

  • Is OrthoFoam safe for use with all ceramic braces?

    Yes, OrthoFoam was designed for use with all metallic and ceramic brackets.

  • How much hydrogen peroxide is in OrthoFoam?

    Our formula contains 3.8% hydrogen peroxide.

  • How long should I wait before eating after using OrthoFoam?

    We recommend waiting at least 15 minutes after using OrthoFoam before eating or drinking.

  • Is it okay to swallow OrthoFoam?

    While our foaming formulas are gentle on your teeth and free of harsh chemicals, you don’t want to swallow more than trace amounts (much like mouthwash or toothpaste.)

  • Is this product safe to use while pregnant?

    As with any tooth whitening product, OrthoFoam cannot be recommended while pregnant or lactating.

  • Is OrthoFoam safe for children?
